THE UNCANNY JOURNALIST

I'm almost as wonderful as the editor pictured above, but less of jerk, more suspicious, and equally uncanny.

 

I'll make this short cause I know you want to spend more time reading my articles instead of reading about my boring life story *wink*. I have written for the Cherry Hill East Newspaper for all four years of high school. I got countless articles published in print and online, and I'm proud of that. But at the same time, I understand that the newspaper can't have my super lengthy, but awesome analysis of current events due to obvious word limits. As a result, I been authorized to create my own online column-blog-thing so I can publish all that I want without the editors having to rifle through thousands of words.

 

Now the reason why my articles are so lengthy are because I take it a step farther beyond conventional journalism. Many newspapers around the world see the news as solely facts, because they are the truly important things people need to know. I define journalism as "the reporting of noteworthy events along with the analysis of how and why they are significant".

 

If you ever bother to read one of my articles, you will see much analysis and opinion, especially in my politically-aligned articles. That's because many of these subjects require a more in-depth analysis to fully understand what is going on, and why should it matter to YOU.

 

All articles I publish will be unabridged, and receive approval from the Eastside Staff.
